After going through about 104 entries, the judges finally made their decision! We want to thank ALL the people who entered the contest, every single picture was amazing. Congratulations to the winners! There were 3 Place winners and 9 Honorable Mentions. “Still round the corner, there may wait, a new road or a secret gate”…by J.R.R. Tolkien. Love this quote by the famous author and it’s so true…there’s always something to explore, something we didn’t see before and something new we can capture when we’re snapping pictures for sure! Please see the guidelines below and enter your pictures in The Lord of the Rings contest! Pictures will be judged on creativity, originality and staying within the theme 🙂

Please see the guidelines below:

1. Please enter your pictures from any of The Lord of the Rings storylines (any of the trilogy…although it was originally one book).

2. You may submit up to 2 pictures

3. Pictures may be raw, edited or photoshopped

4. No nudity allowed

5. Please submit pictures by midnight SL time on Sunday, March 3

6. Submit to the Flickr group link below (labeled “contest entry”):

You may also send a notecard to Natalie Montagne in world…don’t forget your avie’s name on the notecard!

Cybele Moon stated on a description of one of her pictures that “forests were made for the hunters of dreams”. I love this quote and find it so true. In celebration of this and because her forest artwork is some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, this show is centered around Cybele Moon’s forests, forest creatures, and forest fantasies 🙂 Alot of her work is dark, haunting, yet beautiful and captured in the most magnificent way. Please don’t miss this special selection of Cybele’s pictures and while you’re here, enjoy the lovely voice of musician Phemie Alcott at noon 🙂
