Opening for Artist Miro Collas This Friday at 3pm!
Come visit The Lost Unicorn Gallery and view the beautiful works of Miro Collas! Miro is known for capturing many amazing locations in SL. He always uses vibrant, rich colors when he portrays the regions and his special texturing of the pictures make them look like paintings on canvas. Miro has a talent for capturing scenes and focusing on details others may not think about…maybe a simple vase of flowers in the foreground of a lake scene or a butterfy on a tree stump in front of a lovely grouping of trees. He brings out the beauty in the simple things. Every picture is like a postcard showing the beauty of Second Life.
Vocalist Phemie Alcott will perform from 3 to 4pm. Attire is classy casual. Hope to see you there!
Enchantment’s The Iron Throne Photo Contest Winners!

Opening for the Color and Whimsy of Clau Dagger!
Come enjoy the colorful whimsy of Clau Dagger this Friday starting at 12:30pm at the Lost Unicorn Gallery! Each and every one of her pictures show a combination of eye-popping color, unbelievable angles, and amazing details. As if this was not enough, they are also action-packed, always set in a special location and with some kind of theme or story to tell. Clau always brings her fuzzy sidekicks along for the ride…so no matter how dark and foreboding a picture may be, they always make you smile just the same. Each picture is made with alot of love and it definitely shows!
Vocalist Ceci Dover will be entertaining us from 1 to 2pm with her beautiful voice. You won’t want to miss this afternoon of fun 🙂
Enchantment’s The Iron Throne Photo Contest
I’m so excited about this round of Enchantment as I’m sure everyone is! Who isn’t a fan of Game of Thrones and all the characters we’ve come to know and love? If you haven’t seen the show or read the books, you are missing out! Now you can have fun and dress up as your favorite character and place them in one of the many EPIC scenes for a picture….or 2! Please see the guidelines below. Pictures will be judged based on creativity, originality and staying within the theme.
Guidelines….
1. Please enter your pictures based on any of the many storylines within the overall tale
2. You may submit up to 2 pictures
3. Pictures may be raw, edited or photoshopped
4. No nudity allowed (no private parts showing or sexual acts)
5. Please submit pictures by midnight SL time on Sunday, June 2

Dragon Mist Sim
We recently added and opened a new homestead sim to the Lost Unicorn region, just have not “officially” announced its opening until now. It connects on the west side of Storybook and Lost Unicorn sims. I love the Fanatik castles and builds, particularly Arkaig castle. We ended up using this build as the focal point of the homestead and it has a Celtic/Irish theme with some Viking elements here and there. The castle living spaces are decorated within the theme and a lovely Celtic music station streams on the sim. There is alot to explore and discover here and you can get lost in the castle there are so many doors, rooms and hallways to wander. The hallways themselves house some of my own artwork plus landscaper Nessa Zamora and SeleneLily Galicia’s works. In the actual living spaces of the castle, Irish artist Cybele Moon’s artwork is on display, specifically her beautiful work from Ireland.
There is also much to see outside the castle. Go down to the dock area and you might just see a mermaid or two. Nearby is a very small tavern for merchants and visitors to the island….and yes, you can get a pint…or two there, no worries!
Just outside the courtyard area of the castle is a Celtic Circle. There are even caves to explore below the castle which can be accessed through a trap door on the first floor. Just be extra careful and beware of the dragon guarding his hoard!
The overall ambience of the region is perpetual dusk, rain and thunderstorms with alot of mist throughout.
