Lost Unicorn Sims Major Changes!
A few days ago I made the announcement in our groups that we are making major changes with the Lost Unicorn sims. I wanted to post here as well to let you all know what’s going on.
We plan to have a full sim and a homestead adjoined. The homestead will house the gallery and the full sim will be an all “NEW” Lost Unicorn which will be a combo of the best of both Finian’s Dream and Lost Unicorn sims. Finian’s will officially close on July 5 and Lost Unicorn will be a bit longer around the 15th. The gallery will temporarily close as well around the 6th. I’m not quite sure when we will reopen, but we will keep you all udpated as we go along.
I think you all will love the new changes, it’s been a while! Thank you for your patience and support while we go through this process 🙂

Enchantment’s a Midsummer Night’s Dream Photo Contest Winners!

Nature by Icy, an Exhibition Starting Saturday, June 5!
Artist Icy will be showing many of his amazing works at The Lost Unicorn Gallery starting this Saturday, June 5! He has several new, never posted pictures and quite a few others as well. All show off his wonderful talent for making each picture look like a photograph with their clarity and depth along with the unique angles he captures in his shoots.
This show’s focus is on his love of nature and the animals that inhabit the great outdoors. Pictures will be for sale and all proceeds will benefit Friends of Animals, an animal advocacy organization.
We will also be showing new work at the gallery and have three special guest artists this round:

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a comedy written by William Shakespeare c. 1595 or 1596. The play is set in Athens, and consists of several subplots that revolve around the marriage of Theseus and Hippolyta. One subplot involves a conflict between four Athenian lovers. Another follows a group of six amateur actors rehearsing the play which they are to perform before the wedding. Both groups find themselves in a forest inhabited by fairies who manipulate the humans and are engaged in their own domestic intrigue. The play is one of Shakespeare’s most popular and is widely performed.
Pictures will be judged based on creativity, originality and staying within the theme. Most of all, have fun with it!

- No nudity allowed (no private parts showing or sexual acts)

Sims Featured in SL Destinations Blog!
What a wonderful surprise I found last night! I was logging in to the SL website and just happened to see the words FINIAN’S DREAM under Blog Feeds. Finian’s Dream, Storybook and The Lost Unicorn Gallery were all featured in a video created by Draxtor Despres. I’ve shared the video and blog below:
This week we invite you to take a fantastical journey to the regions created by Resident Natalie Starlight and Nessa Nova.
United by thematic elements that draw from fairy tales, the fantasy genre, and her boundless imagination, these regions are visually sumptuous and will truly make you feel as if you have been transported to a different world.
The Lost Unicorn Gallery, shown in the video, features a beautiful elven castle full of amazing fantasy artwork. There are monthly shows and events for different artists, as well as rotational exhibits. Check out the official website for more information on the latest featured artist, cottage rentals, and photos.
Finian’s Dream (created by Nessa Nova), based on old Celtic Ireland, is a mysterious mountainside village. Walk into the fog to explore the castle, tavern, and rolling green hills.
There is also Storybook, which has a more whimsical aesthetic. Frolic amongst the flowers and glistening trees! This region welcomes all avatars but is a particularly wonderful place to visit for elves, faeries, fauns, satyrs, fae and the like.
